The Ounasjoki River has a current, so please take this into account when planning your route. Our staff will be happy to help you choose a suitable route.

If you are kayaking for the first time, we recommend familiarising yourself with the kayak in the calm waters near Roiske before heading further onto the river.

Life jacket use is mandatory.
Do not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
